How to set up your new Cialfo account as a counselor.

We are so glad to welcome you to the Cialfo family 🥳 Find out more on how to configure settings on your Cialfo account to suit your needs.

In the top right-hand corner, click on your Profile Picture and a drop-down menu should appear. Click on My Settings.

1. Enter your Personal Information

Key in your details under the Personal Information section. All fields with an asterisk "*" are compulsory fields. To receive SMS notifications for Meetings and Inbox Messages, ensure that the correct country flag is selected followed by the country code and phone number.

2. Set your working hours

Select the correct time-zone, fill in your working hours and tick the boxes to select your working days. Once you're done, click the 'Save' button.

If your working hours varies from day-to-day (i.e. half-day on Saturday) and you would like your students to schedule meetings with you on those days, do the following:
(i)        Go to your Google Calendar or Office 365 Calendar
(ii)       Set a recurring event to block out the hours that you are not working
(i.e. 1pm - 5pm on Saturday)

3. Sync Your Calendar on Google or Office 365

To sync, click on the respective Calendar type and you will be directed to login to your Google or Office 365 account. You are only allowed to sync with one Calendar at time.

4. Set up your Notifications Settings

Scroll down to set up the notifications you would like to receive and once you're done, remember to click on the 'Save Notification Preference' button once you're done.

5. Change Language to Chinese (Optional)

Under Settings, look for the Language section and select Chinese.


1. Change/Forgot password

If you want to change your password, go to Settings enter in your new password and an email will be sent to your registered email address notifying you of the change.

If you've forgotten your password, click on 'Forgot Password?' on the login page to reset your password. If you've forgotten your school's URL, click on the Chat with Cialfo function to request for it.

2. Unable to view student's profile page

If you are unable to view your student's profile page, it might be because the system is automatically re-directing you to your personal Settings page.

Simply fill in any required empty fields that are asterisked (*), scroll down and click on the 'Save' button.

Once you've done so, head on back to the Students tab and you should now be able access to student's profile page.
