Troubleshooting & FAQ's

  1. How can I disable automatic Task Summary emails to guardians?

If your school would like to stop automatic Task Summary emails from being sent to guardians:

    • Please first confirm internally that the school would like to stop receiving these emails.

    • This setting cannot be changed from the school's configuration or admin settings.

    • The configuration must be updated by the Cialfo Engineering team.

    • Once confirmed, contact your Customer Success Manager or reach out to us through the Chat with Cialfo feature to request the change.

  2. Why am I still getting task notifications for a graduated or former student?

Task notifications, including digest emails and real-time task update alerts, are based on whether the student's account is active, rather than their graduation year.

Therefore, a student who has graduated or left the school may continue to generate task notifications if their account is still active.

To stop these notifications, the counselor can:

  • Deactivate the student's account, or

  • Resolve/delete the specific task that is generating the notification.

Simply marking a student as graduated or updating their graduation year will not stop task notifications if their account remains active. If you still have any doubts, reach out to us through the Chat with Cialfo feature.
