Important: The period to add UCAS Extra choices lasts from February 23rd to July 4th

This service is available for students who:

  1. Have used all five choices in their application,

  2. Are not currently holding any offers, and

  3. Are not waiting on any decision

How to indicate your UCAS Extra choice

  1. Search for a course or major you are interested in using the UCAS Search Tool website


  2. Apply Filters for Course Vacancies by selecting 'Show only courses with vacancies'

  3. Once you find a course you are interested in, proceed back to your Direct Apply page on Cialfo and select 'I'm interested in Extra' to get additional assistance on making the Extra choice, and stand a chance to benefit from Cialfo scholarships and our Visa Support service upon successful enrolment

  4. Our team will get notified of your interest and someone will be in touch with you via email or phone shortly to guide you on the next steps

My first 5 applications were completed on UCAS instead of Direct Apply, will I still be able to receive support from Cialfo with my Extra choice?

I have already made the Extra choice on UCAS, will I still be able to benefit from scholarships and visa support services provided by Cialfo?

Absolutely! All you have to do is to take the following steps.

  1. Proceed to your Direct Apply page on Cialfo and select 'Add Extra application details'

  2. You will be prompted to fill in the details of your Extra choice, and information regarding the university's decision or your decision can be updated at any time

  3. The final step is to confirm to 'Add application' to your Applying list
