User Country Becoming Blank When Creating a Mailing Address
If a counselor is creating a mailing address for a student in their profile, the student's Country field was being overwritten with a blank/null value. This silently erased country data that had previously been set, affecting profile completeness and any downstream processes that relied on the country field.
The backend logic for mailing address creation has now been corrected. Adding or updating a mailing address will no longer overwrite the student’s Country field, and the existing country value will now be preserved correctly.
What to do if you are still encountering the issue:
If you notice that a student’s Country field became blank after a recent mailing address update:
Go to the student’s Personal Information section.
Re-enter the correct country value manually.
Going forward, mailing address updates will no longer affect the Country field.
