What's new - Mini Onboarding for students with onboarding disabled under Configurations

Earlier, when counselors disabled the full onboarding flow at a tenant level, students were taken directly to the dashboard without any guided setup experience. This meant students skipped profile completion entirely, resulting in incomplete academic and personal data and reduced visibility into onboarding engagement.

To address this, a mini onboarding flow has been introduced for such tenants. Instead of the full setup journey, students now see a shortened version that includes only the most essential questions. They also have the flexibility to choose “Ask Me Later” for any question they are not ready to answer, and these skipped items are re-prompted on subsequent logins until completed.

In addition, students in tenants with disabled onboarding are now automatically marked as having completed onboarding once they reach the dashboard, enabling better tracking of initial engagement even without full onboarding completion.

Grade 12 Academics Input Screen and Config UI for Onboarding

The Grade 12 academics input screen displayed during onboarding has been redesigned to improve usability and alignment with the updated UI system. The academic system selector and subject input fields now follow the latest design patterns, offering a cleaner and more intuitive experience for students entering their academic details.

Additionally, a new configuration option has been introduced that allows tenants to enable a “Grade 12 only” logic across the broader platform. This supports schools that operate exclusively with Grade 12 cohorts, ensuring that platform behavior, workflows, and visibility are appropriately tailored to their structure.
