Using Columns, Filters & Views on the Students page

Learn how to use filters, customize columns, and save views to organize information and quickly access the data you need.

The Student List displays student data according to the Filters, Columns and Views you set.

Columns

Click the Columns icon to choose the columns you want to display, then select the relevant checkboxes to filter your student list based on various student attributes.

Like counselor, email, meetings.

For instance, to display the scheduled meeting with students, select the "Meetings" column. You can drag and drop the columns based on what you'd like to see first.

Filters

To view all students in the Class of 2026, head to the "Filter" tab next to the search section.

For example, if you add the Graduation Year filter, select 2026. You can also apply additional filters by selecting the relevant options from the available list.

Why It Matters

Users love that our filters and columns can enable them to laser focus on students that meet different criteria and see only the information they're interested in.

For example:

  • Application Results for all students who applied to the University of Toronto.

  • Task Progress and Last Sign In date for all students interested in UK universities.

  • Contact Details (mobile, email) for students in the Classes of 2025 and 2026.

What's Available?

The list of filters and modules available is growing all the time. Currently, you can manipulate the Student List according to these parameters.

Popular Filters

  • Application Degree Type (Undergraduate for college applications, K-12 for boarding school applications, etc.)

  • Application Type (admissions round - from EA to RD)

  • Application Year

  • Graduation or Class Year

  • Location

  • Mentor (counselor name)

  • Groups

  • Shortlisted Schools (schools the student is interested in)

  • Applying Schools (schools the student is definitely applying to)

  • AchieveWorks® Intelligences

  • AchieveWorks® Learning & Productivity

  • AchieveWorks® Personality

Popular Columns

  • Tasks (progress summary at the task list level)

  • Applications (application status and results)

  • Last Signed In (to monitor student engagement)

  • SAT and ACT scores

  • Meetings

  • Estimated GPA

Different Student Tabs

The counselors can toggle between different views on the Student's page and set the columns and filters according to their preferences for each view. There are 4 default views on the student list page such as Active, Deactivated, Unconfirmed, Unassigned.

Views

To create a personalised view, click on "Save view" - "Create New". Type in the name of the view that you would like to add. For instance, you have created a personalised view called "Test"; select the different types of options from the "Columns" tab and click on "Update Order". You can also use the "Add Filter" option to add the graduation year of the students.
