Documents in student's cDocs Profile
You can now manage all the student's documents by navigating to cDocs section. You can access documents tab by clicking on the 'Documents' button beside the Submission tab button.
Managing Documents on the Documents Checklist
The document checklist below provides a summary view of all documents at a student level. The 'blue' checkmark indicates that the item has been completed/uploaded.
To prepare a document, or upload a document, click on the right slick icon and you will see a pop up window. Follow the instructions to make the upload.
Switch between students
You can also easily switch between students or jump to a specific student who meets the same filter criteria as defined on the All Documents page, by clicking on the search button located at the top left corner. The same filters that are applied in the previous pages will also apply to the students in the dropdown menu. You can also click next to easily navigate to the next student.
Managing Documents on the Documents List
Once the upload is made, it will show up on the list below. The number of documents in each section is depicted in the number beside the document type. For example, in the screenshot below, there are 4 Initial documents and 5 Mid-Year documents.
You can also make changes for the counselor documents, as well as change the type of transcript for the uploaded transcript. To do so, click on the field, and you will be able to see a search bar and dropdown for the changes.
Common App Sync and Recommender Management
On the right-hand side of the page, you will see a summary of the Common App Sync status for the student, as well as the list of recommenders.
When clicking into Recommenders, you can Add recommenders and search in the search bar. You are also able to move each recommender in order of priority.
For example, I have added Minerva McGonagall as a Recommender. I've also moved her to the top of the list by clicking on the icon to the left of the recommender and dragging it to the desired position.
Why is this important? If Auto-send Teacher Recs and Sending Mode is activated, recommendations will be sent in order of the teachers list. When enabled, Minerva's LoR will be sent out first, and then Brooke's, then Albus' and Michelle's last. If the limit of student recommendations is '3' only Minerva, Brooke's and Albus' LoR will be sent.

Students may report being able to view documents in cDocs that are intended for counselor access only. This can occur if document visibility settings are not reflected correctly in the student's document view.
The student is required to refresh the page and check whether the document is still visible after logging back in. If the documents are still visible they should reach out to Chat with Cialfo.

Students may be visible on the main Students page but not appear in the cDocs student list, preventing counselors from accessing the student's documents page. This can occur due to temporary synchronization or indexing issues between the Students page and cDocs.
How to Troubleshoot?
Refresh the cDocs page and search for the student again.
Log out of Cialfo and log back in to refresh the session.
Verify that the student is active and that their graduation year is correctly assigned.
Search for the student using both their name and email address, if applicable.
If the student is still missing from cDocs after completing the above steps, please contact Chat with Cialfo and provide the student name, email address and graduation year.

Counselors may encounter an issue where a student appears on cDocs but cannot be found on the Student List page. This can occur when a student has registered through self-registration from the Cialfo's website page but their account has not yet been confirmed by the school.
How to Troubleshoot?
Navigate to the Students page and check whether an Unconfirmed tab is available.
Search for the student within the Unconfirmed tab.
Review the student's account status and either confirm or deactivate the account as needed.
If the student cannot be found after completing the above steps, please contact Chat with Cialfo and provide the Student Name, email address and graduation year

If the "How to Get Started?" link in the Document Section is not opening or redirecting as expected.
Please try the following troubleshooting steps:
Refresh the page and try clicking the link again.
Clear your browser's cache and cookies, then reload Cialfo.
Try a different browser (such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari) to rule out browser-specific issues.
Disable browser extensions that may block pop-ups or interfere with page navigation.
Log out and log back in to your Cialfo account.
If the issue persists, contact Chat with Cialfo and provide:A screenshot or screen recording of the issue

The affected student's name (if applicable)
