What is a Conditional Offer?
A conditional offer is a type of university admission offer where a university offers you a place provided you meet certain requirements. These requirements usually need to be completed before the university can confirm your final admission.
Common conditions may include:
Achieving a specific overall exam score
Meeting minimum grades in certain subjects
Completing language requirements
Fulfilling other requirements outlined by the university

If you receive a conditional offer from a university, you can record and manage the offer requirements directly in the Applications section.
When an application's Result is set to Conditional Offer, two additional fields will appear:
Conditions Categories
Conditions
These fields allow you to document the specific requirements listed in your offer, helping you keep all important admission conditions organized in one place.
Access & Updates
Students and counselors can add or update conditional offer details in the Applications section. Keeping these details updated helps track university requirements and clearly see what must be completed before the offer is confirmed.
Note: Conditional offer tracking is available for submitted applications. Manual updates can only be made for applications submitted via UCAS or the 'Other' delivery method. For Common App and Direct Apply(UK-DA and DA), the Conditional Offer result cannot be added or edited manually.
How to Add Conditional Offer Details
Follow these steps to add or update your Conditional Offer:
Step 1: Set Result to 'Conditional Offer'
Go to the Applications Page.
Locate your submitted university application (The Portal needs to either UCAS or others).
Update the Result field to Conditional Offer.
4. Once selected, the Conditions Category and Conditions fields will appear.
Step 2: Select the Conditions Categories
The Conditions Categories field allows you to classify the type of requirement.
You can select multiple categories if needed.
Available options include:
Overall Score
Subject Requirements
Language Requirements
Full Conditions
These categories help organize the different types of requirements included in your offer.
Step 3: Add Offer Conditions
Click on the 'Add Conditions' in the Conditions column.
A text editor will open.
Enter the details of the conditions mentioned in your university offer. For example, you might enter something like:
Achieve 85% overall in final board examinations
Score at least 80% in Mathematics
Provide IELTS score of 6.5 or higher
Click Save.
After saving, you can click on “View Conditions” again, to view or update the details if needed.
By recording the conditions in your offer, you can easily monitor what needs to be completed before your admission is confirmed.
