Counselor has the option to choose which notifications they want to receive from the platform such as Tasks, Meetings and Inbox Messages etc.
To do that, Counselor can go "My Settings" located at the top right corner:
Scroll down to the Notifications section in your account settings. Here, you can choose how you want to receive different types of updates.
Select the checkboxes under In page, Email, or SMS for each notification type you want to enable, such as:
Task digests
New meetings
Meeting acceptances or declines
Meeting updates
Messages
Daily status updates
Student Database
Transcript request
Daily Recommendations
Clear a checkbox to stop receiving that type of notification through the selected channel.
Once you have finished updating your preferences, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save changes.
If you are a counselor and not receiving meeting request notifications
This may occur due to notification settings, email filtering, or temporary delivery issues.
What you can do:
Go to My Settings → Notifications and ensure meeting notifications are turned on.
Check your spam or junk folder, as emails may be filtered by your email provider.
Ask your school IT administrator to allow (whitelist) Cialfo emails.
If the issue persists after confirming the above, contact Our Cialfo Support team with the affected counselor's email address and a sample student name so the team can investigate the SendGrid delivery log.
