Overview
With the Veracross SIS integration, counseling teams can eliminate the hassle of double-handling data between the two systems. Any new students added to Veracross will automatically get a Cialfo account created, complete with their basic information. Any time this information gets updated on Veracross, changes will reflect automatically on Cialfo upon the weekly sync.
Apart from students, you also have the option to automatically create guardian accounts for any family members on Veracross associated with the student. Note that the maximum number of family members is four, and can only be the first four members that have been associated with the student.
What is Veracross?
Veracross is a US-based School Information System (SIS) that can directly integrate student information with Cialfo. Schools that have already purchased and are using Veracross as their SIS can activate the integration with Cialfo at no extra cost. *applicable to Pro schools only

Note: The integration is unable to support syncing of subject grades until further notice.

Note: Turning this on means the first four family members associated with a student on Veracross will automatically have a guardian account created on Cialfo. At this time, the integration is unable to support validation or customization of how guardians are recognized and synced to Cialfo until further notice.
How to complete the Veracross Integration Setup
Log in to Cialfo as an administrator
From the home page, select the profile icon in the top right corner, then select Bulk upload from the drop-down menu
Under the Manage Integration section, click Start Setup and Integrate
Choose Veracross as the SIS
Enter your credentials for Username, Password, and Client
Turn on the Active state
Turn on the Test Run function (Recommended, but optional)
Enable Email Notifications (Recommended, but optional)
Decide which Grade From and which Grade To sync student information from
Click Next Step
Proceed to Set Up Mapping for Students
Decide whether to sync optional fields. For example, whether to sync Current Grade levels from Veracross to Cialfo, or to ignore them completely.
Press Back, then select Set Up Mapping for Guardians and repeat step 12
Once you are satisfied with all the mapping, proceed to the Next Step to activate the integration and trigger an immediate sync
Your integration setup is now complete 🎉
Note: If the Test Run function was turned on, remember to return to the integration settings to turn the function off once you are satisfied with the accuracy of the synced data and want to confirm pulling in the data into Cialfo.
