Direct Apply programs are found in the university search function. There are filters and columns readily available to help you customize your search.
Where to find Direct Apply Universities, Filters, and Columns
To get started with Direct Apply universities search, head to Universities tab from the left-hand side menu.
You can start your school search by either typing the name of the school in the Search box, adding the Courses & Majors you are interested in, or both.
Direct Apply filter
If you are specifically looking to search for the Direct Apply programs, you can click on Direct Apply filter. You can include multiple type of programs too.
Once you have added all the relevant filters, you will see a list of universities that meet your criteria.
Search University in specific countries
You can click on the Region filter and select the desired university location and state.
There are many more other filters that you can use to find the desired university of your choice.
Navigating within a University's profile
To dive deeper into your university search, click on the name and full-page university profile will open in new tab.
This screen will have 6 tabs, namely:
Overview
Entry Requirements
Cost & Financial Aid
Courses and Majors
Scholarships
Notes
These 6 tabs includes details of what the College has to offer. You can find information like deadlines, upcoming college visits and sessions, costs, essay prompts, the programs this college offers and counselors can also add notes for each university.
You can add this university directly from here to your Shortlist, Longlist or Applying list and also Connect with the university to let them know that you are interested in applying to their school, allowing you to stand out
Accessing the Direct Apply programs:
To access the complete list of Direct Apply programs, click on the Courses and Majors
There you will find information about all the available courses offered by that university.
You can use the search bar at the top to input the courses and majors you are looking for.
Course Availability & Start Dates
Course availability and start dates for programs are automatically synced weekly from UCAS. This means:
You may see newly added or updated courses appear in your search each week
Course start dates you see reflect the latest information available from UCAS
This helps ensure the course information you're viewing and applying to is accurate and up to date.
There you'll also see a"Courses that match your Profile" section, showing course recommendations based on your saved preferences.
You can refine these recommendations at any time by clicking Tune, which lets you adjust your preferences, including your courses and majors of interest and your budget to show you better-matched results.
Adding Applications
Once you are done with your research, it's now time to add your application for the program of your choice. Click on View course and you will see a "Add Application" button at the bottom of the page.
The Add Application button will turn into "Complete Application" upon clicking and will also be available to view in the Applications tab on the left-hand side menu.
Viewing all added applications
After you have added one or several applications you can head to the Applications tab from the left-hand side menu to view all your added applications.
Here you will see two Direct Apply sections - one for UK DA Applications and one for Non-UK DA table. This table has a list of all programs you are applying for along with additional requirements, fees, and deadlines.
You need to click on complete application and fill in all the required details before being able to submit the application to the university.

Troubleshooting some common issues
If you or a student and you cannot see the course list during a Direct Apply application, please try the following:
Refresh the page and re-open the application
Check that the university still has the Direct Apply programme active on Cialfo
