Partner Authorization Form

Overview

The PA (Partner Authorization) form is a required consent document that some schools use to authorize student's consent to share the details with Cialfo. This article explains how PA form enforcement works and how students can upload a passport as part of the PA process during the onboarding process.

For schools that have PA authorisation form enabled, students are required to complete and submit the PA form while signing up. If the PA form has not been submitted, students may see a prompt or restriction blocking their platform usage.

What counselors should do:

  • Check with your school's Client Manager that the the PA authorisation form configuration is enabled.

  • Check whether a student's PA form status is complete or pending from the student's profile.

Passport Upload for PA Form (Schools in India and China)

Schools operating under India and China, students now have the option to upload a passport image as part of the PA form submission. This provides an additional method of identity verification as part of the authorization process.

To upload a passport as part of the PA form:

  1. Open the PA Authorization Form when prompted on the platform.

  2. Look for the Passport Upload section within the form.

  3. Click Upload and select a clear image or scan of your passport (accepted formats: JPG, PNG, PDF).

  4. Confirm the upload and complete the remaining fields in the form.

  5. Submit the form once all required fields are filled.

Note: The passport upload field is optional for most tenants but may be required depending on your school's configuration. Contact your school counselor if you are unsure whether this is required for your school.

How to Troubleshoot ?

  1. PA form is not appearing even though enforcement is enabled
    Try logging out and back in to refresh your session. If the form still does not appear, contact Chat with Cialfo with your school name and the student's email.

  2. Passport upload is not visible in the PA form
    The passport upload option is only available for schools with India or China tenant configurations. If you believe your school qualifies and the option is missing, contact Chat with Cialfo.

  3. File upload fails when submitting the passport
    Ensure the file is under 5MB and in JPG, PNG, or PDF format. Try a different browser or clear your cache before reattempting the upload.

  4. How to Disable or Discontinue the PA Form

    If your school wishes to discontinue or disable the PA (Partner Authorization) form enforcement, please contact the Cialfo team via Chat with Cialfo or reach out to your Client Experience Manager for assistance with the configuration changes.
