Recent Updates on the Mobile App

Additional Mobile Bug Fixes & Enhancements (April 2026)

Cialfo has rolled out additional mobile app improvements aimed at enhancing usability, consistency, and overall performance.

Previously, users experienced issues such as interrupted signature drawing when switching tabs, non-functional search within Application Detail Groups, inconsistent display of conditional fields, and UI misalignments across various mobile pages. There were also instances of blank pop-ups during multi-file uploads, outdated university images being displayed, and inconsistencies in ACT score entry fields and composite score visibility.

These updates address those challenges by enabling smoother navigation, ensuring accurate and consistent field behavior, and improving UI alignment across screens. Enhancements have also been made to the University Quest experience, including resolving duplicate tooltip issues and restoring missing student photos in mobile widgets.

Overall, these improvements are part of ongoing efforts to deliver a seamless, reliable, and user-friendly mobile experience.

Mobile App Home Page — University Quest & Bug Fixes

The Cialfo mobile app Home page includes several widgets, including the University Quest section, which helps students track their readiness level and progress throughout the application journey.
In January 2026, a set of bug fixes was released to improve the overall experience and resolve issues on the mobile Home page.

What Was Fixed

  • Duplicate tooltip icons on University Quest: Previously, tapping the helper (?) icon next to “Side Quests” or “Main Quest” caused two tooltip icons to appear at the same time. This issue has now been fixed, and only a single helper tooltip appears per tap, ensuring a cleaner and more intuitive user experience.

Mobile App: Adding and Editing Test Scores & Fixes

The Cialfo mobile app includes a Test Scores module that allows students to add and edit their standardized test results (e.g., IB, SAT, ACT, TOEFL). In late January 2026, several bug fixes were introduced to improve accuracy, clarity, and overall user experience when managing test entries.

Fixes When Adding a Test

  • A confirmation pop-up now appears if a student attempts to cancel after making changes, helping prevent accidental data loss.

  • In the Added Score view, the Test Date and Registration ID are now displayed on separate lines for better readability and consistency with other fields.

Fixes When Editing a Test

  • The primary button in Edit mode is now correctly labeled “Save changes” instead of the previous “Save & Exit.”

  • For IB tests, the Level field (Standard/Higher) now retains the previously selected value when reopening the edit form. Previously, it would reset to “Standard” regardless of the saved selection.
