Cialfo integrates TOEFL score verification to allow students and counselors to confirm official test scores directly within the platform.
Steps to Add and Verify TOEFL Scores ?
The students has to navigate to their Profile section and scroll down to 'Tests'
Click Add Test and select TOEFL as the test type.
Add the Registration ID and Date of Birth as provided on the official TOEFL score report.
Cialfo will attempt to verify the score via the TOEFL API. If verification is successful, a verified status will appear next to the score.
How to troubleshooting TOEFL Score Verification?
If your TOEFL score is not verifying, review the following common issues:
1. Incorrect Registration ID
Ensure the Registration ID entered matches exactly what is shown on your official TOEFL score report. Even a small error will cause verification to fail.
2. Score Not Yet Released
TOEFL scores are typically released by ETS within 4โ8 days after the test date.
If you attempt verification before official release, it will fail. Wait until your scores are available and try again.
3. API Delay After Score Release
There may be a short delay between ETS releasing scores and them being available via the API.
If verification fails shortly after release, wait a few hours and retry.
When does TOEFL Verification gets Blocked?
To prevent misuse, Cialfo blocks TOEFL verification after 3 consecutive failed attempts.
What happens when blocked:
You will see a block message
You will not be able to retry verification
The block will not reset automatically after 24 hours

How to Resolve a Blocked TOEFL Verification?
If your verification attempts are blocked, follow these steps:
Before contacting support, confirm:
The Registration ID is correct and matches the official ETS report
Your name and date of birth in Cialfo match ETS records
Your TOEFL score has been officially released
Lastly, The block will reset automatically after 24 hours
If all of the above are correct and the block persists after 24 hours, contact Cialfo Support via Chat with Cialfo and provide the student's name, email address, Registration ID and test date.
